Airbus A310 - SAETA

SAETA (Sociedad Anónima Ecuatoriana de Transportes Aéreos) was an airline from Ecuador. It was based in Guayaquil and started flying in the 1960s. It operated services to destinations in North and South America. The airline ceased operations in February 2000. In its early days the airline flew aircraft types like Douglas DC-3 and Vickers Viscount, but it became a widebody operator in April 1992 when Airbus delivered its first Airbus A310. SAETA operated two of the type, both A310-300's, until 1996.
