Airbus A330-300 - Etihad Airways
Etihad Airways is the national airline of Abu Dhabi, one of the United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 2003 and is very ambitious in becoming a major hub airline, following the examples of neighbouring Emirates and Qatar Airlines.
Etihad flies several types of widebody aircraft, both Boeings and Airbuses. Part of the fleet is a number of Airbus A330-300s. One of these aircraft is painted in a striking Abu Dhabi promotion colour scheme. This aircraft was photographed while approaching London Heathrow Airport (UK).
Etihad adapts the year number every year. The photograph below shows a detail of the same aircraft in 2012. The photograph above was taken in 2014.
