Boeing 747-400 - Northwest Airlines

Northwest Airlines was the first operator of the Boeing 747-400, and only one of two US passenger airlines to order the type. The other airline is United Airlines.

Northwest introduced the type in 1989 and flies sixteen of them. The aircraft on the picture above in new livery is taken at Nagoya Airport in Japan. The picture below shows a Boeing 747-400 of Northwest in the old colour scheme approaching Los Angeles International (LAX).
