Qantas (Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Service) is the biggest airline in Australia and is one of the oldest airlines in the world. It was established in December 1920. Today, with around 25 Jumbo Jets in the fleet, Qantas is a big Boeing 747-400 operator. It also flew the 747-100, -200, -300 and SP. A total of 65 Jumbo Jets has been delivered to Qantas.

The aircraft on the picture above is painted in the airline's standard livery and taxiing at Frankfurt Rhein/Main Airport. The picture below shows a special colour scheme with a Formula One racing car painted on the fuselage to promote the 2000 Australian Grand Prix.
