Boeing 747-400F - Emirates Sky Cargo
Emirates Sky Cargo is the freight division of Emirates from Dubai. Most of the cargo is carried in the belly of passenger aircraft, but Sky Cargo also has a number of specialised cargo aircraft in service. The passenger airline flies an all-widebody fleet with Boeing 777 plus Airbus A330 and A340 airliners, but no Boeing 747s in cargo configuration. Sky Cargo however flies a number of 747-400F aircraft plus some converted Airbus A310s. The airline has ordered the Boeing 747-8F and the 777Freighter.
The Emirates Sky Cargo Boeing 747s are regular visitors of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, from where the aicraft on the photograph is taking off.
