Boeing 767-200ER - TWA Trans World Airlines

The former US airline TWA Trans World Airlines was a large user of widebody airliners for its extensive intercontinental network. It flew the Boeing 747 and 767 and the Lockheed L-1011 TriStar.

Until the takeover by American Airlines in 2001, TWA flew 22 Boeing 767 aircraft. In 1982, 1983 and 1984 the airline took delivery of ten 767-200s (five -200s and five -200s). Later another two aircraft, a -200 and a -200ER, were added to the fleet. In the 1990s and in the year 2000 ten 767-300ERs were delivered. The aircraft on both pictures are 767-200ER and taken at Frankfurt Rhein/Main Airport. The photo below shows the final livery of the airline before its takeover by American Airlines.
