Boeing 767-300 - All Nippon Airways
All Nippon Airways (ANA) is one of the two largest airlines in Japan. The airline is a big user of widebody aircraft, including a number of Boeing 767-300F freighters (photo above). ANA is also the first customer of the Boeing 767-300BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter), a conversion of former passenger aircraft.
The airline started flying in 1953 and developed as Japan's biggest domestic airline. ANA started flying international routes in 1986. ANA flies more than fifty passenger 767-300's and other widebodies in the fleet are the Boeing 747 and 777. All Nippon Airways is also the first customer for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
The photograph above shows a Boeing 767-300F departing from Anchorage Ted Stevens Airport. The pictures below are of passenger aircraft in standard colours departing Sapporo New Chitose Airport and in a special Woody Woodpecker livery taxiing at Tokyo Haneda Airport.
