Boeing 767-300ER - British Airways

British Airways ordered a total of 28 Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. Seven of these are in service now with Qantas in Australia. BA 767 aircraft were painted in the colourful 'World Tails' liveries during the late 1990s and the first years of the new century.

Aircraft spotters liked the tails, but ex-Prime Minister Margareth Thatcher detested them and wanted a more nationalistic livery. The result was that all tails in the fleet were repainted to show the Union Jack. Two examples of the World Tails on 767s are shown on the pictures below.
