Ilyushin Il-96-300 - Rossiya
Rossiya was established in 1992 and operates the VIP-flights (Very Important Persons) on behalf of the government of Russia. In 2005 Rossiya merged with Pulkovo Aviation in St. Petersburg, keeping the name 'Rossiya'.
Rossiya flies several Il-96-300s, including the Russian presidential VIP-aircraft, which is shown on the photograph during a visit of the Russian president Medvedev to The Netherlands in 2009. It is taxiing on departure from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The picture below shows a Rossiya Il-96-300 in an earlier livery at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport.
